Carina Chittim

Carina is a third year graduate student who studies bacterial metabolism of phospholipids, especially as it relates to the human microbiome. She is very interested in learning more about the role microbes play in human health and disease states, with the aim of perturbing interspecies metabolism as potential treatments for diseases. When not in lab, Carina enjoys playing board games, reading and baking.
