Diego Granados

Diego is originally from the Texas–Mexico border region. He earned his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin in 2021 before pursuing graduate studies at Princeton University under the supervision of Prof. Robert Knowles. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2026. His doctoral research focused on the development of iridium polypyridyl complexes bearing pendant Brønsted bases for applications in proton-coupled electron transfer. In July 2026, Diego joined the Balskus group as a postdoctoral fellow.
