E. coli toxin linked to colon cancer alkylates DNA

We recently identified a colibactin-derived DNA adduct in human cells and mice that may play a role in colorectal cancer! Terrific work from Matt, Yindi, Paul, and our wonderful collaborators in the Balbo, Garrett, Engelward, and Samson labs! Check out the paper here, and C&EN coverage here.
